FLEXlm Server Software needs to be installed only if your company has purchased an InterComm Expert floating license. 

If you need FLEXlm Server Software for:

• InterComm Expert 5.1 M070 or later — The FLEXlm Server Software is included with the download or on the CD.  Follow the instructions in the License_Server_Install.pdf included with the License Server Software.
   

• InterComm Expert 5.1 M060 or earlier — You can download it using the process below:

1. Go to the PTC website: http://www.ptc.com/cs/doc/intercomm_main.htm
2. Enter your PTC account username and password.  (Click here to find out how to get a PTC.com account.)
3. Scroll down to the Important Links header and select the link under the InterComm Utilities option.
4. On the next page, scroll down to the FLEXlm Server Install table.  Select the Floating License Server Install for your system (Windows, Solaris, HP-UX).  Also download the FLEXlm Server Notes (pdf) for installation instructions.
5. Once the download is complete, you can exit the browser.
6. Follow the installation instructions in the pdf file.
